I have spoken with your Corporate Offices in Sunrise, Florida. Their stance is they adhere to the store's policy of no holding the pet until you purchase it. That's why so many exotic animals are brought to Animal Services. The owners and pets don't bond. My poor rescue rabbit, I was his 5th owner. We were only to enjoy each other for 2.5 years. He apparently was between 8-10 years old. He was traumatized. I wanted a new bunny who had not been traumatized yet and could bond with my family. I had already held one of this store's bunnies. Actually it was the only one at the time. I was advised and ENCOURAGED to come see two more bunnies that would arrive two days later. I went back three days later and was going to buy at least one, possibly two bunnies. But the rude manager, David, was not caring or compassionate. I had no children with me, I am a senior but I can still walk and talk at the same time (I have my coordination). I am a recent rabbit owner. And the Pet Supermarket employees Oct 16th were very helpful and pleasant. October 20th Manager David was a smart alec "whipper snapper" and appeared to want to cause trouble. I am in this particular store several times a month purchasing pet products for a shut in couple's pets. I will never go there again. They will have to find someone else to be abused by this store and it's employees. I pray that you have no more exotic animals in your store that will miss out on a wonderful home with a wonderful family because your employees are cold, uncaring and sarcastic and really don't care about good homes for their animals. Their only focus is how quick can we sell an animal. Don't worry about finding a good home for the animal. Your corporate office talked with me friday Oct 20th. They called me back. They do have my phone number. You can not help me. I wanted to buy at least one of the bunnies. The very first one I AND MY HUSBAND held Monday Oct 16th, was still there on friday October 20th. It was the bunny I wanted to purchase and I wanted another bunny as it's companion. But Manager David didn't even stop walking away when he told me "NOPE" to holding any animals. I will continue to tell all my many friends, some younger and some older, that your stores are not interested in hooking up animals with good homes....JUST THE ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR! How fast can we get animals in and out of our stores. Your corporate office has made this abundantly clear!

My girlfriend who went in there for a betta, and not know much about fish. They sent her out with 18 different fish and a betta. Needless to say, the tank c crashed and the fish died. That's irresponsible and bad business. Now you have a would be customer that is turned off you the hobby. And you killed a lot of fish.
