  I am giving one star because I can’t give a negative score which I would if I could. My sweet wonderful boyfriend gave me a lovely pearl necklace for my birthday that he paid around three hundred dollars for. After having worn it for around three months it broke. At the time I lived nowhere near a Jared and it sat in my drawer broken for around a year or so. When I finally had a chance to bring it in the people at Jared they spent half to three quarters of an hour to tell me that they were going to charge me for a defective item to fix it. I used to make jewelry and whenever I had a client that had something that was broken I would either fix it for free or give them a new one. I think it is so tacky to charge someone to fix an defective 300$ piece of jewelry. I will never ever go back.
