  This huge vintage market is open on the first weekend of every month. There are a variety of vendors, and lots of choices. Sometimes we go looking for a specific item, and other times we don't know what we need until we find it — like the 1940s nut chopper I bought that matches my vintage kitchen. If you see something you like, grab it because it might not be there later. A member of the friendly staff will be happy to stash it by checkout for you while you continue walking through the market. Brocante makes custom furniture, too. If you love the 8-ft. reclaimed wood and metal dining table, but need it in a different size, ask for a quote. I haven't noticed prices higher than other places. This isn't a flea market, it's an antique/vintage market. Naturally, custom made items are more expensive; they are well made, and worth the price. Brocante does a beautiful job of staging their merchandise. Pay attention to the way they arrange things by color and theme. You'll go home with lots of good ideas.
